SURGERY APPOINTMENTS DURING CORONAVIRUS
To reduce your risk and chances of catching COVID-19 the surgery has introduced changes and new procedures to deal with your problems. Our aim is to keep our patients and staff safe at all times.
Please do not let the current coronavirus pandemic delay you in seeking medical help and advice. We have and will remain open during these uncertain times.
Appointments will be initially triaged over the telephone by a clinician. You maybe required to take part in a video consultation. However, if the clinician feels you need to be seen, please be reassured that a "face to face" appointment will be made.
We are very mindful that not everyone will have the necessary smartphones, computer equipment or IT skills to access video consultations. We have other means in place to enable us to deal with your problems.
Video Consultations
The GP or nurse may decide you need a video consultation - these are really easy to use if you have a smartphone - watch the youtube link to see what it entails https://youtu.be/xxW4ssN3y90
DISPENSARY
The dispensary is open as usual, please use our one way system and follow social distancing guidelines.
Order your prescriptions on line or via the NHS App - this will help keep the phone lines free for the GPs to call patients.
If you need to order your prescription by telephone, please dial 01833 690424. The ordering line is open daily from 1.30pm - 5.15pm (except Thursdays). Please do not call the appointment line to place your order.
Make sure you have a nominated pharmacy so you do not need to come to the surgery to collect your prescription.
